Guitar Hero Cheats And Song Lists
Hi Fans I Am Gonna Make A Complete List Of All The Cheats And Songs On Guitar Hero From Guitar Hero To Band Hero

Song Lists
Guitar Hero
Main setlist
There are thirty songs within the solo "Career" mode.[2] The songs are grouped by difficulty into named tiers.[1] Furthermore, four overall difficulty levels — Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert — are present in the game, reflecting the number of frets that are employed, the number of notes to be played, and the speed at which the notes scroll on the screen.[1] Tiers are presented sequentially within each difficulty level; in lower difficulty modes, only 3 or 4 songs of each tier must be completed before the next tier is made available for that difficulty level, while in the hardest difficulty, all five songs must be completed.[3] Once a tier is opened at any difficulty level, the songs in that tier are playable in quickplay or competitive modes.[1]
All songs are covers of the original versions, credited as, for example, "'Iron Man' as made famous by Black Sabbath", and were performed by WaveGroup Sound for the game.[4] WaveGroup has released a selection of these covers through paid download services like iTunes in a collection entitled "The Guitar Hero Recordings".[4]

Bonus songs
Seventeen bonus songs are available within Guitar Hero.[2] Bonus songs can be purchased with in-game money earned from the Career mode within the game's virtual store.[3] Once purchased, the songs will be playable at all difficulty levels in Career, quickplay, and competitive modes. Many of the bands featured in the bonus songs are those that Harmonix members participate in.[5] The song "Cheat on the Church" by Graveyard BBQ was selected for inclusion in the game as the winner of the "Be a Guitar Hero" contest.[6]
All of the bonus songs are the original master tracks.

Guitar Hero II
Main setlist
There are 40 songs in the main Career mode for the PlayStation 2 version, and 48 songs in the Xbox 360 version.[4][5] Songs are organized by tiers that are related to the song's difficulty and there are differences between the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 ordering due to the extra songs.[4] Each tier at a given difficulty is unlocked in order, and a tier is completed once three to five songs (depending on the difficulty level) and the tier's encore song are successfully completed.[6] Once a song is unlocked in a tier at any difficulty, it is available for the quick play, competitive, and co-operative modes.[6]
Most songs in the game are covers of the original songs performed by WaveGroup Sound,[1] but there are some master recordings as indicated below.[7] Each song has a lead guitar track and either a bass or rhythm guitar track that can be played in practice or cooperative modes.[8]

Bonus songs
There are 24 bonus songs in the PlayStation 2 version of Guitar Hero II[9] and 2 additional songs for the Xbox 360 version.[5] All bonus songs are unlockable by using in-game money to buy them within the game's store. Once purchased, they are playable in quick play, competitive, and co-operative modes. The song "Raw Dog" by The Last Vegas was selected as part of the "Be a Guitar Hero" content for the release of Guitar Hero II.[8] All bonus songs are master recordings, and where marked, include rhythm guitar rather than bass guitar tracks.

Downloadable content
The Xbox 360 version of the game allows for the use of downloadable content available through Xbox Live Marketplace. These are typically released as packs of three, or as single song.[10] These packs include songs from the original Guitar Hero for the PlayStation 2.[11] Additional packs consist of songs that have not been featured in Guitar Hero before, and are both masters and covers.

Guitar Hero III
Main setlist
Guitar Hero III features 73 songs spread across both the Solo and Co-Op Career modes.[1] These songs are arranged in eight sequential tiers based on their relative difficulty. The player(s) must complete some or all of the songs in one tier (based on the career difficulty selected), including the Encore, to access the next one. During the Solo Career mode, the player will also encounter three Boss Battles, a new mode introduced in Guitar Hero III, at the ends of three tiers as listed below, prior to performing the Encore song. The player must attempt the Boss Battle three times, but after the third time the player has the option of passing the Boss Battle in order to continue progression in the game. However, this option is only available for the first two boss battles (Slash and Tom Morello), Lou has to be beaten to finish the game. In Co-Op Career mode, the players only perform the first six tiers, do not encounter any Boss Battles, and have different Encore songs from the Solo Career mode.[2]
Once a tier is open at any difficulty level, all songs except the Encores and Boss Battle songs become available for all other game modes; the Encore songs become available once they are completed. The three Boss Battle songs are not playable outside of Solo Career mode. However, these songs were available as free downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. All songs (except Boss Battles) can be unlocked for all modes through special cheat codes for the game, as to, for example, allow a solo player to access the Co-Op Encore songs without having to play through Co-Op mode.[2]

Downloadable songs
Both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 version of Guitar Hero III feature the ability to download additional songs from the consoles' respective online stores. Most songs must be purchased in "track packs" of three and cannot be purchased individually while only some songs are available as "singles." There are a number of free songs available. The downloadable songs have been released on the same day on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and the PlayStation Store, with five exceptions. Besides the two console-exclusive songs, the three songs from the Companion Pack were not released for the PlayStation 3 until August 7, 2008.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith
Main setlist
The primary single player mode is the Career Mode, in which the player works through 31 songs divided into six sequential tiers as listed below, each representing a different chapter and at a different location during Aerosmith's career and reflecting an increasing difficulty in the songs. In Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, the first two songs of each tier, representing opening acts,[4] must be successfully completed before two Aerosmith or Joe Perry songs are presented. Once these are complete, the player then must complete (or turn down) the Encore song before they can move onto the next tier. The tiers are arranged as to follow Aerosmith's rise to success, starting at their first performance at Mendon-Upton Nipmuc Regional High School, up through their performance at the Super Bowl XXXV halftime show and their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.[5] The last tier features an additional Boss Battle against Joe Perry. In addition to the 31 main songs, ten additional songs can be unlocked from "The Vault" using in-game money earned during Career Mode. Once songs have been unlocked in Career Mode or from "The Vault", the player may then play these songs at any time in Quickplay mode, play co-operatively with another player performing the bass or rhythm guitar line, or compete in head-to-head battles offline or online.[3] There is no Co-op Career Mode as was present in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
While tracks from Deep Purple and The White Stripes were initially reported to be in the game, they are not in the final setlist.[6] There are no plans to offer the tracks from the game as downloadable content for Guitar Hero III or Guitar Hero World Tour.[7]
All Aerosmith and Joe Perry songs in the game are master recordings as marked in the table below; in the case of four Aerosmith songs, these were specifically re-recorded for the game due to the lack of existing master recordings.[1] All but four of the "opening acts" are also master recordings; in the case of the other four songs, these are cover versions performed either by WaveGroup Sound or Steve Ouimette. The year column in the table reflects the year the song was recorded as stated in the game.

Guitar Hero World Tour
Main setlist
The game disk contains 86 songs, all of which are master recordings—a first for the Guitar Hero series.[5] In the single player and multiplayer band (Career Mode) modes, songs are distributed into various "gigs" that contain between 3 to 6 songs each; gigs may also contain a boss battle (for the single player guitar career) and encores that are revealed once all the other songs in the gig are completed. These gigs are arranged approximately based on the difficulty of the songs in that gig for the selected instrument or band, with more difficult songs appearing in later gigs. The player or band must complete easier gigs before the more difficult gigs are available. Once a player or band has access to a song via any instrument or band Career mode, that song can be played in Quickplay mode or any of the other competitive modes in the game. The set list has been described as containing well-known songs by "an impressive collection of artists" such as Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, and Tool.[6][7]
Songs are presented in the table below with the year they were recorded (based on the in-game description), song title, and artist, and the placement of the song in the band career mode. Initially, thirty-five songs will be exportable to both Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero for a small fee, with music licensing limiting which songs can be exported; more songs may be made exportable at a later time.[8][9][10]

a Guitar tracks for this song were rerecorded in 2008, but the original 1968 vocal track is still used.[11]
b These songs were rerecorded by the original artist for use in the game.[11]
c Guitar duels are not available for band play unless downloaded from the online store and are not part of the band career path.
Downloadable content
In addition to custom songs, players of the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii versions can download new licensed songs for the game. This is the first game in the Guitar Hero series to support download functionality on the Wii.[12] Wii users can store downloaded songs on either the Wii's internal memory or on an SD Card in a "Rock Archive".[13] When playing tracks stored on an SD Card, each song is automatically copied to a 200-memory block "content cache" on the Wii's flash memory for play and then deleted after the song is finished.[14] Some downloadable content was not available for the Wii due to technical or licensing issues[15] until November 24, 2009. Most downloadable content (152 of 158 songs as of early August 2009) will be forward-compatible with Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero, automatically updated to include new features found in that game.[16][8][9]
Downloadable songs cost 160 Microsoft Points each for Xbox 360 users, $1.99 each (PlayStation Store) for PS3, or 200 Wii Points for Wii. Also, Xbox 360 and PS3 users can purchase track packs of three songs released together for 440 Microsoft Points or $5.49 for PS3. The Jimi Hendrix Track Pack was originally only available for download as a track pack and not as individual songs,[17] but Activision announced that in March the Wii would receive the Hendrix pack as downloadable singles. These songs have since been released with the second Jimi Hendrix Track Pack.[18]

Guitar Hero Smash/Greatest Hits
Main setlist
All 48 tracks in the game are master recordings of songs previously featured in the first five published games of the Guitar Hero series: Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, and Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. "Cult of Personality" is a re-recording performed by Living Colour for Guitar Hero III, while two other songs are taken from live concert recordings; all other songs are based on original studio recordings. Although the game supports user-created songs through the "GHTunes" service (common to Guitar Hero World Tour and Guitar Hero: Metallica), other existing downloadable content does not work with Smash Hits.[9] Songs in either the Career single player or band mode are arranged in tiers roughly in order of difficulty for the particular instrument, with different orders for each of the five Career paths. However, all songs are playable from the game's "Quickplay" mode without completing any Career goals.[14] The songs included in the game are as follows.[9][11][15][16][17][18] Initially, twenty-one of these songs will be exportable to both Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero for a small fee, with music licensing limited which songs can be exported, with the possibility of more songs in the future.[19][20

Main setlist
The following list is the complete setlist of songs featured in the game, including the year of release of the song according to the game, the song name, the artist, and the song's placement in the band Career mode. All songs are based on master recordings, in two cases, specifically re-recorded for the game. In the game's Career mode, songs are presented sequentially in tiers representing both real and fictional venues. To access each subsequent tier, the players must accumulate a number of stars from available songs; completing a song rewards the players with up to five stars based on their overall performance. Tiers are arranged in approximate difficulty, which varies between the single player instrument careers and the band career modes, with later tiers representing more difficult songs.[2]

A These songs are exclusive to PlayStation 2 and Wii game disks. Available as downloadable content on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3
B These songs are included on the game's demo on the Xbox 360
C These songs were re-recorded by the original artist for use in the game[4][5]
Downloadable content
Although no new downloadable content has yet been announced for the game, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 players who have purchased playable tracks from Metallica's Death Magnetic album for Guitar Hero World Tour and Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock through either the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Marketplace will have these tracks incorporated into Guitar Hero: Metallica, with the exclusion of "All Nightmare Long" which can be played after completing 5 of the 9 tiers and also "Broken Beat & Scarred", "Cyanide" and "My Apocalypse", which already appears on the main setlist.[6] These tracks become available in Career mode after completing the eighth tier, "The Ice Cave". These songs are played in "The Stone Nightclub" venue. The game supports new song creation and sharing through the "GHTunes" music service (for Playstation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 only) common to both World Tour and Metallica.[7]
Guitar Hero 5
Main setlist
Excluding its downloadable content, Guitar Hero 5 features 85 songs, all based on master recordings or live performances, from 83 musicians. Tracks from 30 artists represent their "music-rhythm video game debut".[2] Game director Brian Bright has called the track list "fresh"; 25% of the songs were released in the last 18 months, and more than 50% from the current decade.[3] Unlike previous versions of the Guitar Hero series, in which players must work through a career mode to unlock all the songs in the game, all songs in Guitar Hero 5 are unlocked and are playable in any mode from the start.[4] However, a Career mode is presented in the game, similar to Guitar Hero: Metallica, in which players acquire a number of stars from their performances in earlier venues to unlock new venues. The song order within the venues remains the same regardless of the number of players or the instruments played. Venues are generally ordered by overall song difficulty; songs become more difficult in later venues.[5] Sixty-nine of the songs will be importable into Band Hero for a nominal fee.[6]
Critics appreciated many of Guitar Hero 5's features, but found the soundtrack to be the weakest feature of the game. Matt Helgeson of Game Informer called the track list "extremely diverse",[7] and Arthur Gies of GameSpy felt that the song selection was based on "careful consideration for the most part", to avoid songs with short-lived appeal.[5] However, the variety of songs was found to also work against the game. Reviewers noted that players would find songs they liked, but at the same time, would find songs they loathed.[8] Erik Brudvig of IGN noted that while "the goal was to include a bit of everything", the range of songs on the track list "ensure[s] that nobody will like everything on the disc".[9] The soundtrack's diversity also had an impact on the Career progression; while the guitar difficulty progression in the Career mode was considered better than in previous games, it left the vocals and drummer progression "all over the place".[5]
The songs in Guitar Hero 5's track list are listed below, including the year of the song's recording, song title, artist, venue where the song is played in the Career progression,[10] and whether or not the track is exportable for Band Hero or other future games.[11]

Importable content
See also: List of songs in Guitar Hero World Tour, List of songs in Guitar Hero Smash Hits, and List of songs in Band Hero
On release of Guitar Hero 5, 35 of the songs from World Tour and 21 from Smash Hits are importable into Guitar Hero 5 for a small fee (approximately $0.10 per song), and are treated as downloadable content for the game playable in all game modes; the World Tour export was available on release, while the Smash Hits export was available a few days afterwards.[12][13][14][15] Furthermore, 61 of the 65 tracks from Band Hero are importable into Guitar Hero 5.[6] All transferred songs are also playable in Band Hero.[12] However, Guitar Hero 5 is not backwards-compatible with World Tour.[16] The transfer process requires the player to enter a unique code from the World Tour or Smash Hits manual to be able to redownload available songs in a pack (on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3) or individual songs (on the Wii) that have been updated to include the new features. Players on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 can delete individual songs after downloading the pack.[17][18] Some songs are not transferable because of licensing issues—not technical issues—according to Bright.[19] Tim Riley, the head of music licensing at Activision, stated that the company will continue to seek licenses for more songs from previous games and downloadable content to be exported into Guitar Hero 5, but cannot guarantee that these songs will be licensed for future Guitar Hero games.[12] While reviewers appreciated Activision's efforts to allow the importing of songs from previous games,[9] they felt that the small number of tracks that were available at launch was at odds with the impression that Activision had made of the process before the game's release.[5][20]
Downloadable content
See also: Downloadable content for Guitar Hero World Tour
Guitar Hero 5 supports downloadable content; the first songs were made available shortly after the game's release. In addition, 152 of the 158 available downloadable songs for Guitar Hero World Tour are forward-compatible with Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero; the existing content is automatically upgraded to include all features new to these games and was immediately available to players upon release of Guitar Hero 5.[2][12][21] Downloaded songs can be used in all game modes, provided all players have the song, including in the game's Career mode when players are given the option to select any song to play. The entire Guitar Hero 5 DLC library is also available in Band Hero, and vice versa, so both games embrace the same DLC library.

Band Hero
Main Setlist
Band Hero for consoles features 65 songs from "mainstream acts".[13][14] The game also allows Guitar Hero World Tour’s downloadable content to be used within Band Hero, and is expected to also use similar content for Guitar Hero 5.[1] In addition, some on-disc songs from Guitar Hero World Tour and Guitar Hero Smash Hits will be importable into Band Hero and Guitar Hero 5 for an undetermined fee, with music licensing limiting those that can be transferred.[15] Furthermore, 69 of the 85 on-disc songs from Guitar Hero 5 can be imported into Band Hero; similarly, 61 of the 65 songs from Band Hero can be exported for use in Guitar Hero 5.[16][17]

Importable Content

On release of Band Hero, 35 of the songs from World Tour and 21 from Smash Hits are importable into Band Hero for a small fee (approximately $0.10 per song), and are treated as downloadable content for the game playable in all game modes.Furthermore, 69 of the 85 tracks from Guitar Hero 5 will be importable into Band Hero. All transferred songs will also be playable in the Guitar Hero 5 and will be free if downloaded in either games. However, Guitar Hero 5 or Band Hero is not backwards-compatible with World Tour nor any other Guitar Hero game. The transfer process requires the player to enter a unique code from the World Tour or Smash Hits manual to be able to redownload available songs in a pack (on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3) or individual songs (on the Wii) that have been updated to include the new features. Players on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 can delete individual songs after downloading the pack. Some songs are not transferable because of licensing issues—not technical issues—according to Bright. Tim Riley, the head of music licensing at Activision, stated that the company will continue to seek licenses for more songs from previous games and downloadable content to be exported into Band Hero, but cannot guarantee that these songs will be licensed for future Guitar Hero games.
Downloadable Content

See also: Downloadable content for Guitar Hero 5
While Band Hero does not have its own separate library of downloadable content, it supports downloadable content from the Guitar Hero 5 DLC library. In addition, 152 of the 158 available downloadable songs for Guitar Hero World Tour are forward-compatible with Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero; the existing content is automatically upgraded to include all features new to these games and was immediately available to players upon release of Band Hero.[20][21][22] Downloaded songs can be used in all game modes, provided all participating players have the song, including in the game's Career mode when players are given the option to select any song to play. The entire Band Hero DLC library is also available in Guitar Hero 5, and vice versa, so both games embrace the same DLC library. But, some download songs have specific focus on Band Hero, like the "Celebrity New Years Track Pack" which includes Taylor Swift, Maroon 5 and No Doubt songs.
